United Heavy Lift GmbH (UHL), Hamburg have nominated DUO Shipping, Turkey to be exclusive commercial agent in Turkey with immediate effect.
With the increased activity in UHL with a growing fleet and regular service into West and East Africa from Mediterranean and Europe, DUO Shipping will be able to enhance the presence towards Turkish customers.
“I am very pleased to be able to work with Daghan and Sertac again, they are old colleagues from Intermarine” said Lars Bonnesen, CEO of United Heavy Lift. “We have a growing fleet, we expect our UHL 900 fleet to grow to 17 sister vessels in 2021, also we anticipate the fleet in commercial management to grow within the near future. In addition, our Joint Sailing Agreement with Marguisa from Mediterranean and Europe to West Africa are going very well and we will expand the service into East Africa as well. Sertac and Daghan have been working on that trade for many years and are a great addition to our team.”
